Igidae city nature park is a sea-friendly nature park with a mountain called jangsanbong and the sea. It was a restricted area for military purpose and has been opened to the public since 1993. Therefore, the nature here is well preserved.

*History of IGIDAE PARK
The first, it is introduce from the book that is history and geography of jwasuyoung in joseon age. There is called igidae because remain the grave of two gisaeng.
The second, the head of jwaasuyoung enjoy songs and dances with two gisaeng. So there is igidae. But government official enjoy with gisaeng at feast that time, therefore it is fill founded.
The third, according to choi hanbok of scholar in suyoung, a righteous gisaeng fall into the sea with japanese general at feast of suyoung castle surrender. so it is called.
