Sydney Opera House(1957-1973) is a masterpiece of late modern architecture. It is admired internationally and proudly treasured by the people of Australia. It was created by a young architect who understood and recognised the potential provided by the site against the stunning backdrop of Sydney Harbor. Denmark's Jorn Utzon gave Austrailia a challenging, gracdful piece of urban sculpture in patterned tiles, glistening in the sunlight and invitingly aglow at night Jorn Utzon died in Copenhagen in November 2008 aged 90.
In its short lifetime, Sydney Opera House has earned a reputation as a world-class performing arts centre and become a symbol of both Sydney and the Australian nation.

Wilson Parking manages and operates Wilson's Sydney Opera House Car Park, which is a public car park serving Sydney Opera House visitors and ticket buyers, as well as vistiors and residents of East Circular Quay and Macquarie Street. Being a public car park, availability is difficult to predict and may be limited, especially at times of busy activity at Sydney Opera House and its surrounding areas. Sydney Opera House recommends that those wishing to use this car park arrive early.
Wilson's Sydney Opera House Car Park is located at the northern end of Macquaries street with vehicular access adjacent to the Forecourt.
There are 11 accessible parking spaces on level one of the car park for holders of RTA Mobility Parking Scheme permits. Car spaces on level six also have direct lift access.
There is undercover access to Sydney Opera House Lower Concourse from the car park. The car park is open 06:30am to 1:00am seven days.

Circular Quay is a five to seven minute walk from the Sydney Opera House. You can catch buses, trains and ferries to Circular Quay. To ensure your public transport needs can be met and for further information please contact.

Designed for elderly and less mobile customers. Seating is limited and available on a first come, first served basis. Bus leaves from Circular Quay at Stand E in front of Wharf 2.
