Tanjung Aru Resort and Spa offers guests a number of transportation options, including limousine airport transfers and a shuttle service to Rasa Ria Resort.
-Airport Connection
Shangri-La’s Tanjung Aru Resort and Spa, Kota Kinabalu is approximately 10 minutes by road from Kota Kinabalu International Airport. Taxis and limousines services can be found on the ground floor of the domestic and international arrival halls.
If you would like us to arrange an airport pick-up for you, simply provide your airline name, flight number, and estimated time of arrival when you make your room booking online, or contact the hotel directly at least one day in advance.

Most taxis do not run on meters, so it is recommended to negotiate the fare before boarding the taxi. Expect to pay around USD 5 for a short ride within the city. We can arrange a taxi pickup for you at the resort.

The resort provides a shuttle service to our sister resort, Rasa Ria. Shuttle fare is USD 10 return for adults, and USD 5 return for children under 12.

1. Kinabalu Park
Kinabalu Park, the entrance to Mt. Kinabalu, is located at 1,585 metres above sea level and is main starting point for the summit trail that leads to the top of Mt. Kinabalu. As the keeper of the treasures of Mt. kinabalu, kinabalu Park show cases an eco-system unrivalled anywhere else in the world.
2. Tunku Abdul Rahman National park
The park is located from kota kinabalu 20min by speedboat and composed of 5 coral islands. Manukan island is a second big in tunku abdul rahman national park. The shape is boomerang, east beach is very beautiful and south beach is good for snorkeling and diving. The island is prepared accommodation, restaurant, diving center.
3. Sabah museum
