summary
Taejongdae is a representative park of Busan, with spectaclar rocky cliffs, quiet resting places in thick forests of various evergreen and deciduous trees and a variety of recreation facilites.
It is famous for the fact that Tsushima Island of Japan can be seen from here. This place is named after King Taejon(Muyeol, 654-661)of the acnient silla Dynasty who enjoyed archdry here after unifying the Three Kingdoms. During the joseon period, King Taejong(1400-18) visited here for recrdation, and Dongnae Magistrates came here to perform a ritual for rain in times of drought.

3. taejongdae tourist cruise
Taejongdae Tourist Cruise offers two-hour cruise departing from the pebble beach in Taejongdae. It cruises around Igidea in yongho-dong, which is famous for grossworm inhabitant, oryukdo island and Gwangan bridge. Then, it goes back to the pebble beach.

1. observatory in taejongdae
The observatory is in the middle of the circular road in Taejongdae for tourists. It is over the rock cliffs and you can see five-six island and even Tsushima island in Japan. It has been told that King Taejong Mooyeol of Shilla kimgdom came here to see.

2. natural observation path in Taejongdae
Natural observation path in Taejongdae park offers you to meet various kinds of wild plants. If you pass Taejong temple, you will find this great place with all different kinds of wild flowers and plants. You can see different wild plants depending on seasons and each plant has its explanation on board. Therfore, it helps young students study and observe the nature. People can also have lunch on the benches in forest nearby just like picnic and walk along the flower paths. It is a great place for relaxation.
3. pebble beach in Taejongdae
You can have a great time in pebble beach looking over to the sea and rocks. This place is perfect to escape from busy city life for a while.

4. yong-island lighthouse
Youngdo lighthouse is very famous for being the first manned lighthouse in Busan established back in 1906 during the empire of Korea period. The lighthouse lights up three fimes every 18 seconds for the ships's safe navigation at night time.
